Types of electrical installations
Electrical installations differ depending on whether it is high voltage or low voltage, residential, public building or construction installation, or if it is designed for commercial or industrial premises. Let’s see the specifics of the construction of these different types of electrical installations.
Electrical installation in residential and public buildings:
Construction of this type of electrical installations starts from the main switchboard. That, by the way is valid for all types of electrical installations. In this case, let’s imagine the construction of an electrical installation in a block of flats. First, a power wire must be elongated from the main switchboard to the apartment and more precisely right next to the apartment panel. This is done usually in advance in PVC or metal pipes during the rough construction.
In the apartment panel circuit breakers and RCDs are mounted. Here the distribution of individual circuits is happening. Every circuit is connected to a separate fuse.
When starting a new project, we advise you to carefully consider your needs for lighting and sockets in your home. Look around and consider the appliances that you plan to put in every room. Consider places for additional sockets that currently you may not need, but in modern life there are constantly new devices with different applications appearing on the market. In the quest to be part of this modern life we constantly buy more and more appliances (not always needed), and if the electrical system in our apartment is not properly calculated and distributed, very soon our home will look like a web of tangled cables, power strips and extension cords.
Many of the inquiries that we have been receiving concern namely the expansion of the electrical system in outdated residential buildings, whose electrical installations are unreliable and have no potential to meet the requirements of our modern times.
